| Easy Flight In The News
You may have already heard about us. Here are just some of the news stories where Easy Flight and powered parachutes were featured!
The premier edition of Here's 2 St. Louis on Fox2 KTVI. Tim Ezell did a story where he learned to solo fly a powered parachute. He broke ground with that story because he was the first person to ever have his solo flight filmed from a helicopter. Cameraman was Rick Hensel. Story aired September 7, 1998.
A two part story on Channel 11 News at 9. Brenda Stanton did a story that spanned over two evenings where on the first installment she focussed on the equipment and the people that flew the machines. On the second night, she showed her experiences training for her dual and solo flights. She did a fantastic job of showcasing powered parachutes. Cameraman was Kevin Marshall. The stories aired July 27th and 28th 1998.
Several times in 1993-1996, Easy Flight was featured in Ken's Window, a program hosted by Ken Rank in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Ken has shown all aspects of powered parachutes over the years.
In 1995 Show me St. Louis on KSDK Channel 5 gave powered parachutes and Easy Flight their 15 seconds of fame. Don't feel bad if you missed it. I (and my mother) are the only ones that remember that short piece.
In 1994 KMOV Channel 4 did a three minute story on Easy Flight for their 6:00pm news program. Peter Bernard was the reporter and Tom Martin was the cameraman. This was the first time Easy Flight was seen on television in the St. Louis market!
